What are the specific reasons for non-conformity?
The unqualified items found in the sampling inspection of children’s clothing mainly focus on: PH value, fiber content, formaldehyde content, color fastness to dry and wet rubbing, etc.
The formaldehyde content is unqualified.
The project had 1 batch of non-conformity. Formaldehyde content is an important indicator of clothing safety, and its content exceeding the standard can cause chronic respiratory diseases, conjunctivitis, laryngitis, etc. People who are allergic to formaldehyde will have symptoms such as coughing and wheezing.
The nominal “Ningbo Maqidun Children’s Products Co., Ltd.” production, distributed by Ningbo Yinzhou Zhonggongmiao Love Children’s Clothing Store, the brand is “MQD”, the style of 117231436609 “five-point jeans”, after testing, the formaldehyde content reached 92mg/kg, exceeding the standard value range of ≤75mg/kg.

The project had 7 batches that failed. The fiber content is mainly to assess the explicit composition of clothing, and the unqualified products found in the test are not up to the explicit composition index of the product.
The color fastness is unqualified
Eleven batches of the project failed. Color fastness is to assess the stability of clothing in sweat, friction, washing, sunlight and other conditions of coloring, poor color fastness textile products, dyes are easy to fall off and fade, affecting the beauty, and shed dye molecules or heavy metal ions may be absorbed by the body through the skin.
The sampling inspection of students’ stationery showed that the unqualified items mainly included: the force and hardness of the pencil lead, the writing performance of the gel pen, and the paper quantity of the book.
The core tip of the pencil is unqualified for force and hardness
The project had 6 batches that failed. The unqualified force and hardness of the core tip of the pencil are mainly reflected in the normal use of the pencil core tip, which is prone to breakage, chipping, cracking and other problems, affecting normal writing.
The writing performance of the gel pen is unqualified
The project had 3 batches that failed. The main reasons for the unqualified are: first, the enterprise cuts corners, reduces production costs, and reduces the amount of ink poured; Second, the refill production process is not well controlled, resulting in ink sticking to the inner wall of the pen tube, and the amount of ink output cannot meet the standard requirements of 400 meters without obvious line breaking and lightening.
The cap of the pen is safe

The failure of the cap safety item of the pen is mainly due to the lack of ventilation holes on the cap and the absence of clips and other similar protrusions, resulting in the cap being a confined space, if the child accidentally inhales the cap into the mouth, it may cause the cap to completely block the trachea and the risk of suffocation.
