Five-hundred-meter Aperture Sphericalradio Telescope
The China Sky Eye 500-meter aperture spherical radio telescope is a radio telescope led by the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, located in a karst depression in Pingtang County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province.
The equipment is the world’s largest single-aperture and most sensitive radio telescope with China’s independent intellectual property rights, and is known as the “eye of China’s sky”. It is mainly composed of active reflective surface system, feed support system, measurement and control system, receiver and terminal and observation base.
In order to build this eye-catching Chinese sky eye, difficulties were overcome in the process. Until January 11, 2020, when the 500-meter aperture spherical radio telescope, known as the “eye of China’s sky”, was officially opened for operation through national acceptance, it became the world’s largest and most sensitive radio telescope, which also means that human beings have a deeper vision and a broader vision to explore the unknown areas of the universe.
The mention of this Heavenly Eye must be linked to the “father of the Chinese Heavenly Eye” – Nan Rendong.
Minami In-dong (February 1945 ~ September 15, 2017)
Some people say: his eyes are closed, but the “Chinese heavenly eye” has opened his eyes. For all this, he dedicated the last 22 years of his life, and this old man did not even catch the day when the results came out.
After remembering the “father of the eye of heaven”, we look forward. Come and enjoy the beauty of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.
The flowers and the moving water create a beautiful picture.
A sea of flowers hit.
Lively crowds under a sea of flowers.
Everyone under the sea of flowers is happy!
In the past, I always heard that “other people’s moons are rounder than their own”. Today, our great motherland has long been renewed. The sons and daughters of China are overflowing with happiness. May the motherland be more prosperous in the future!!!
