China Quality News Network News (Reporter Xu Yuanguan) Recently, the Jiangxi Provincial Administration for Market Supervision announced the results of the 2020 Jiangxi Province Children’s and Infant Clothing Product Quality Supervision and Random Inspection. This time, 20 batches of children’s and infant clothing products were randomly inspected, and after inspection, 1 batch of unqualified products was inspected, and the unqualified discovery rate was 5%.
According to GB18401-2010 “National Basic Safety Technical Specifications for Textile Products” and GB31701-2015 “Safety Technical Specifications for Infant and Children’s Textile Products”, 11 items were inspected, including fiber content, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, formaldehyde content, pH value, color fastness to water, color fastness to rubbing (dry rub), color fastness to perspiration, attachment compression strength, saliva color fastness, accessory sharpness, rope requirements, etc.
The unqualified items involved in this spot check are non-removable attachment tensile strength items. This item is substandard and easy to fall off during wearing, inducing children to swallow and cause injury.
The unqualified products found in this spot check will be handed over to the local market supervision department for handling according to law.
