Beichen One Knife Flow:
A typical modern school of swordsmanship, that is, the art sword school. Also known as Beichen Dream Flow, because of the source of a knife flow, so the name Beichen One Knife Flow. Motozu was Chiba Shusaku (1794~1855) of the Ono faction. He opened the “Genbukan”, improved bamboo swords and protective gear, and established the rules of battle, which had a great influence on modern Japanese kendo, so he was appreciated by the Mito clan and became a teacher of the domain’s Kodokan. His younger brother Teiyoshi (Eijiro) and Setoshi’s son Chiba Shigetaro (1824~1855) contributed more to Hokuchen-ryu. Seiyoshi opened a military training hall in Edo Barrel Town, and many of the Edo clans and ronin from all over the world went to the dojo to study. Among them were Sakamoto Ryoma of the Tosa Keno faction, and Ito Kotaro, who had become a newly formed military division, anyway, regardless of his thoughts or origins, he only studied art. Shigetaro is Ryoma’s best friend, and he also has his part in trying to assassinate Katsukaishu. However, he later broke away from the Qinwang movement and returned to inherit the Chiba Dojo in Barrel Town, making the dojo’s reputation even more famous. The essence of Beichen’s sword flow is: “Instantaneous heart and strength are the same.” ”
Mirror Wise Flow:
Genide Tomita Kazukari, Motoi Hachiro Naoyu. Naoyu absorbed the characteristics of many other schools to evolve the one-knife stream into a wise stream, because it pays great attention to posture and form, so it is called “Denpai Momoi”.
Unlike Beichen Yidaoliu, which pays attention to sword skills and embodies artistry in attack and defense, the artistry of Kagami Xin Wise Flow is mainly reflected in a “position” character, that is, emphasizing the grace and dashing of form and posture. It is said that Momoi Haruzo Naomasa himself is a beautiful man (it seems that there are really many beautiful men in Kenhao… ), so the “bit” of Kagami Shin Wise Flow was played to the extreme by him. However, in the turbulent era of the end of the shogunate, there was no place for artistic swordsmanship. Therefore, in terms of practicality, the mirror heart wise flow is not inferior to people. Okada Izo, known as the “Executioner Izo”, and Shitakeshi Hanpei Tarayama of the Tosa Domain were also masters of Kagami Shin Sensi.
The Momoi Dojo in Edo is called “Shigakukan”, and it is the most famous and high-quality avenue in the Three Great Avenue Fields. The third code name of Momoi is Kazo, and the fourth generation is Momoi Haruzo Naomasa (1825~1885), which brought the wise stream to its peak. Haruzo served in the shogunate shogunate, and after the Restoration, he opened an apprenticeship in Osaka, and his fame spread throughout Japan. This school is somewhere between art and martial arts, but it is more artistic. The main disciples were Takeshi Mizuyama and Ueda Manosuke; It also includes Okada Eizo who diligently learned the skills at an early age, and finally completed the unique rare assassination sword technique.
One knife flow, Chinese and Western school:
Originated from the Nakanishi Dojo opened by Ito Kazusai in Edo. This school of swordsmanship, usually practice the use of bamboo knives, the main point of the attack is to pay attention to “cut”. It is the most orthodox successor of the Middle Ages, truly embodying the essence of the one-knife flow without scum. In fact, from the weapons practiced daily, it can roughly reflect whether the genre is biased towards fighting or art. Most of the art sword schools use bamboo knives, bamboo knives are light and elastic, less destructive power (of course, the master’s hard blow, everyone still can’t afford it), the risk factor can be reduced in practice. The genre that focuses on fighting uses real swords or wooden knives to compare, wooden knives are heavy, hard, inelastic, and with a little force, the middle one may break his hands and feet, and may even lead to lifelong disability. Because if you don’t practice in daily practice, you can’t win in actual combat.
Straight Heart Shadow Flow:
The ancestor of Genzo is Mitsunori Yamada, who is said to have been the first to apply armor to the practice (trial union of Akiko). Under Yamada’s men, there were many shoguns, and the main emphasis was on the tempering of the heart, emphasizing the use of heavy swords. The most famous swordsman of Naoshin Kageryu is Seiichiro Otani (1798~1864), who is known as the “Sword Saint”. Seiichiro’s disciple Sakakibara Kankichi (1830~1894) was also one of the correctionists, he opened the Lecture Martial Arts Institute, and contributed greatly to the Zhongxing of kendo, and there were many foreign disciples under the Zao Sect, such as Perutz, who helped Japanese medicine a lot.
Oishi God Shadow Flow:
It is said that he once fought a three-foot-three-inch long bamboo knife to challenge the Edo Fields, and no one was able to beat him. The biggest feature of this school is the rapid advance of the left hand. The influence of this faction is slightly weaker, probably because the selection of disciples is too strict, and the main descendant is Dashi Yi.
Cardioid knife flow:
Hideaki Ita taught at the shogunate martial arts institute, and his swordsmanship was ever-changing, and he was proficient in one-sword skills, two-sword skills, and small sword skills. However, it is said that the heart-shaped knife flow is the most powerful, and the large knife is used the most. Remember the incident in “るろうにKenshin”, when Myo and Yanto went to buy color prints by Tsukioka Tsuzunan? What are their common demands? The first beautiful male swordsman at the end of the jujube curtain “One-armed Itai Hachiro”. This Itai Hachiro Hideji is the descendant of the Heart-shaped Dao-ryu (unfortunately, he is not compared with Okita Soji, who is the first beautiful man).
Shinto Mindless Stream:
The actual combat swordsmanship of Choshu, the source ancestor is Fukui Yoshihei, but the real fame of the world is in the era of Yakuro Saito (1798~1871). Yakuro opened a training hall in Edo, known as the number one in Edo swordsmanship, and had as many as 3,000 disciples. Although Wu Nianliu is a fighting sword art, it also pays great attention to self-cultivation, pays attention to “self-discipline and self-discipline”, and has a very strong moral color. Most of the Choshu clans, led by Katsura Kogoro, practiced the Nyunen stream, but when Yakuro Saito opened the museum in Edo, the number of Mito clans in the stream increased, such as Serizawa Duck. Incidentally, because of this, Yakuro was deeply appreciated by the lord of Mito Domain, Tokugawa Saiaki, and asked him to be the captain of Ueno Shoyoshi’s team during the Boshin War. Yakuro knew the time and did not agree, and after the war, he became a new government.
Natural Compassion Flow:
Genzu Kondo Nagahiro, representative figures Isamu Kondo, Tsuchikata Suizo and so on, Wushu Tama’s peasant sword technique, needless to say. This school pays attention to “roots and strength”, which is extremely called “the position of floating birds” (the rough waves of the barren sea, the wind and snow, and the floating birds surf and fly high). To this day, there is still a wooden knife used by Isamu Kondo in Japan’s Ryugenji Temple. Supporters of the “New Writing Group”, everyone understands. The Kondo faction is basically a natural flow of reason, and Fujido Heisuke and Ito Koko Taro of the Hokushin Ichikaku flow defected to Kodaiji Temple and were beheaded, Serizawa Duck, who was Shinto without a thoughtful flow, was assassinated, and Nagakura Shinhachi also rebelled.
